Dominant or Recessive?

Are these traits recessive, dominant, or codominant for the average human?

-baldness

-high blood pressure

-nearsightness

-curly hair

-tongue roll

please check if these are even genetic traits.

Dominant or Recessive?

Baldness is a sex-linked recessive trait. High blood pressure seems to have a genetic link, but this is still being investigated. Myopia or nearsightedness is a dominant trait. Curly hair is a dominant trait. Tongue rolling is also a dominant trait.

Dominant or Recessive?

thegentleman is correct in is assessment of the various traits with the exception of baldness. Baldness is NOT a sex linked trait but rather a sex influenced trait. It is a dominant characteristic influenced by the sex of eh individual. males need only one of the autosomal alleles to be bald. femals require two of the dominant alleles to go bald(yes women do but generally after menopause) Testosterone levels determine whether the charactersitic is expressed.
