Is there are race called "Arab" ?

why most people consider that arabs are from one race ? Iam myself an arab (from Lebanon), but i consider my self as white.

Arab people don't look the same, for example people from Sudan, which is an arabic country, have black skin and they look like Africans, also most people in Saudi Arabia have dark skin like. While most people in other arab countries like Lebanon and Syria have lighter skin and some of them have blond hair and colored eyes.

So, why people consider arab as human race?

For me i think that arab people are people who live in countries that speak arabic. So i think arabic is language, but not a race.

anciently the people living in a certain area, presently called the arab countries are called arabs. the name is from the language the spoke and the culture and traditions among them. some of the arabs are black because they are the ancestors of the people who have been brought from africa ancietly

1st of all 95% of Lebanese people r pure Arab (except armenians) and there is not such called white race in every color there are many different ppl with diffrent skin color even in the same family so do not make it worry u and contact me if u like to talk Report It

There are technically only 3 races in the world. Mongloids, Caucazoids and Negroids. Arabs refer to people from the Arabian Penisula whom identify themselves with said ethnicity. Consequently 20% of Arabs are Christian and .5% are Jewish.

most saudi's are not dark skinned....didnt you see king abdullah lately???,,,,im not saying they are blonde hair blue eyed but the majority is not dark....the dark ones have african roots...or there ancestors used to be slaves along time ago...like the other guy said....
