Can you survive a lightning strike more than once?

Some people like to push to odds. And at least one person has been hit by lightning some seven times and survived. An American park ranger by the name of Roy Sullivan was nailed sever times between 1942 and 1977. Known as the "human lightning rod", Mr. Sullivan survived being struck although his hair was set on fire twice and he suffered burns on various parts of his body. But he lived. Kids, he is a professional. Don't try that at home...only Mr. Sullivan and Thor can ride the lightning! Though lightning is hot, the discharge usually lasts such a short time that serious burns do not necessarily occur. And current usually prefers to stay on the outside of an object. Unless the discharge goes through the heart or spinal column, a victim can often survive. I've been struck once...

If the first strike doesn't kill you, why would the second? I think you would probably be safe playing golf in a thunderstorm. If the rain gets to heavy, stand under a tree.
