Is it OK to smoke in the same room?

What are the "human" foodz catz should NEVER eat ?

Is it OK for catz to drink coffee %26amp; tea? lol.. like, if I accedentally left my cup %26amp; she came %26amp; drank from it, would somethin' bad happen to her?

Is there a way to remove cat hair from cloths? coz my cat'z drivin' me CRAZY!! I wear this black jacket n'it alwayz lookz dirty from her hair :(:(

N'my last Q:

My kitty could be 2weekz pregnant.. shez a siamese , how many kittiez could she get on her 1st pregnancy %26amp; iz there a way to know if she'z pregnant "without" taking her to a vet??

thnx alot :X

Questionz About Catz!?

1) If you have pets, you pretty much have to expect them to show up when you least want them to (same with babies who just learned to crawl O.o). Since I don't live with my girlfriend, I don't have sex, but it's not like I would lock the cat out to have sex, unless she wanted me to (or unless there were other people in the apartment, in which case I'd close the door anyway).

2) Passive smoking isn't good for anyone, human or animal. If you are a smoker, I'd suggest either smoking under the kitchen fan, out the window, or outside.

3) There are plenty of foodstuffs you shouldn't feed your cat. http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?... has a list of some of them. Caffeine can be lethal to cats, and you shouldn't feed her coffee (or caffeine-containing tea) often, but if she just gets a sip now and then when you can't keep her from it, it won't harm her too much.

4) http://www.tassalogen.com/shop/admin/ima...

The thing in that image works quite well =) Ask your local petstore or vet where to get one, or search online.

5) Approximately two to three weeks after impregnation, the cat's nipples start protruding a bit, and turn rose-coloured. That's the first sign of pregnancy, so you could keep an eye on that. I don't know how many kittens she could have, but cats in general tend to have between two and eight kittens (IMO, four is about the best number, because more than that and it'll be hell to take care of them). They'll be born approximately six weeks after her nipples get rosy.

I hope I helped a bit =)

Questionz About Catz!?

Woah! how many questions! These answers should be worth 8 points at least! :)

1) To have sex in front of an animal is normal.. you only might have problems with some dogs wich tends to be protective towards you and bite your mate

2) To smoke in the same room of a cat it not so much ok.. I mean .. you will not hurt him so much with a cigarette but surely it would affect his health.. better to open a window and to smoke a cigarette watching outside! ;)

3) Cats should NEVER eat chocolate, onions, and alchool... you should restrict their diet on vegetables and meat.

4) To remove hair from clothes you can take a plastic glove (the ones you use to wash dishes) and pass it over the clothes, it should remove most of it!

5) Your kitty should have from 3 to 5 kittens (congrats!) you can stay next to her without going to vet, just be sure that all the kittens and their covering sac comes out and let her clean them. Ah! don't worry about some blood. it's all natural :)

Questionz About Catz!?

first of all you shouldnt smoke near animals, just like people, second hand smoke is dangerous to their health.

Cats should only eat CAT FOOD - like the food you buy in tins and packets at the supermarket. They should NEVER eat chocolate, candy, spicy / saucy foods and cooked bones - cooked bones will splinter in their stomaches and can rip up their insides.

also, do not let them have tea or coffee - their bodies arent designed to deal with caffeein.

U can clean cat hair by buying one of those sticky rollers from the supermarket which are designed to do just that. Ultimatly, you can stick some double sided sticky tape around a toilet role and it shud pick up all the hair on your clothes.

If your cat is pregnant, she will become fatter in the stomach, and will become more relaxing, laxy and sleepy. There isnt rlly a telling in how many kittens to excpect, but it is advisable to see a vet as their might be some complications with the first litter, and the cat might require special food.

good luck

Questionz About Catz!?

LOL ... I assure you ... the panda got to see panda's having sex ... not people ...

If secondhand smoke kills human beings ... and we're more than 10 times the size of a cat ... what do you think ...

NEVER ... EVER ... let a cat get hold of a Aspirin ... DEATH WILL RESULT ... as to coffee and tea ... that's going to be one hyper cat for sure ... and it'll probably get diarrhea ... as long as it doesn't drink too much of it ...

Take some wide tape ... wrap it around your hand ... sticky side out ... and dab at the hair ... it'll clean right off ...

Feel her tummy ... if it feels hard ... (when she hasn't just eaten) ... then she's pregnant ...

Good luck ...

Questionz About Catz!?

Cats do like some human food, like sardines, tuna, salmon, all in the can of course. But I don't think they should eat chocolate or spicy foods, I hear they may damage their insides.

Cats like milk, did you have milk in the tea or coffee? I don't think it will effect her much, maybe just a little caffeine fix.

Use a lint brush to remove the cat hair. The one that is sticky like tape.

Our cat had 4 kittens on her first delivery.

Questionz About Catz!?

First, cats don't care if you have sex in front of them or not. They expect humans to do odd things, so it's no big deal to them.

Second, it's not okay to smoke in the same room with ANYone, cat, person, dog, or Martian.

Third, cats shouldn't be given dairy products. They're usually lactose intolerant. Most cats won't touch people food anyway, that's only for "the help." Drinking coffee or tea isn't good for them, but it won't hurt them anymore than you.

Fourth, getting fur off clothes: have you tried a lint brush?

Fifth, How to tell is your Kitty is pregnant: believe me, you will know. First pregnancy, probably three kittens.

Questionz About Catz!?

1-yes

2-no I wouldn't recommend it

3-chocolate alcohol and such

4-no it won't harm them

5-lint remover works for me

6-hard stomach good luck my cat had 6 kittens(1 stillborn) on her first litter. 2 more died to no fault of her own.

Questionz About Catz!?

Hi there...the first person's answer is excellent. I'll elaborate with some website links for some of you questions to help.

1) Lovemaking will not mean much to cats. They'll be curious because of the noises during but for the most part will not care.

2) Second hand smoking has been known to cause cancer in cats. t's always best to smoke away from pets to minimize the risks. Here are two web articles which discuss this in great detail:

http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2002/07/3...

http://www.cvm.uiuc.edu/petcolumns/showa...

3) There are many food ingredients which cats should avoid. As a general rule it's best to feed cats only food prepared especially for them to mimize any risks to their health. Here's a detailed list of some: http://www.peteducation.com:80/article.c... Most dangerous is chocolate, onions, garlic...tuna

More specifically on tuna or any fish: many people are not aware that Tuna can be toxic to cats when consumed over a period of time. Here's a web article about Tuna and how it is toxic to cats (again any vet can confirm this fact as well): http://www.lenhumanesoc.org/Tips/ASPCA-T...

"TUNA FOR CATS? NO!

Tuna can be fatal to cats and is not something to be fed to them...The human variety of tuna fish contains an enzyme that destroys vitamin B1 (thiamine). Cats who regularly eat tuna can develop a vitamin B1 deficiency, which results in neurological symptoms like dilated eyes, loss of equilibrium, seizures and death if this vitamin is not replaced. The scientific name of this disease is polioencephlomalacia.

Clearwater veterinarian Richard Brancato said that though most domestic cats do enjoy fish, feeding them a diet of only tuna can cause serious disorders.

Although it is high in protein, tuna lacks sufficient amounts of certain amino acids, mainly taurine, to maintain feline health. There is insufficient calcium to balance the phosphorus; the ratio in canned tuna is 1-to-14.8. This results in bone disease.

Many essential vitamins such as A and most B vitamins are also lacking, Brancato said. A common disease in cats fed a mainstay of canned tuna is steatitis, or yellow fat disease, an inflammation of the fat tissue in the body due to a deficiency of vitamin E.

Here's another answer by a veterinarian just recently about the dangers of tuna: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

A Veterinarian Answered:

... Actually, it is.

I've had to treat numerous cats over the years for pretty severe enteritis resulting from eating tuna meat. One of my own babies got so ill from it when someone else left it sitting out on the counter for 5 minutes while he turned his back to take a phone call, that I had to put her on IV fluids for 2 days, in addition to intestinal medications.

How many cats do you know who go swimming in the ocean to catch tuna and eat it as part of their natural diet???

Tuna-FLAVORED food....okay. Tuna meat.....bad.

I 'love' brownies....but that doesn't mean they're good for me. Cats also 'love' antifreeze....but we all know what it will do to them. :-/

The most you should do is to use the water that is drained off from the can of tuna (not the oil...for another reason), and drizzle it over their dry cat food once or twice a month. They'll think they died and went to cat heaven!....but without the danger.

Save the tuna meat for your sandwiches.

4) another excellent product to remove cat hair from clothes or furnishings is a product called Zoom Groom found at nearly all pet stores. It's a rubber grooming brush for pets, but it works great on lift hair from just about from anything. Sprinkling water on it will even make it work more effectively. http://www.puplife.com/dogsupplies/03skz... There is one for cats and dogs, but I found the dog one works best of the two since it has more surface rubber to use.

5) A cat's first pregnancy can produce 1-4 kittens. Cat's gestation is 63-69 days and you'll notice her nipples becoming larger/more pink and her belly growing quickly. Here's a helpful website on feline pregnancy and what to expect and how to be prepared: http://www.sniksnak.com/cathealth/howto1...

Questionz About Catz!?

if you have a pet you should take it to the vet to get it checked out they need shots and things. it is not okay to smoke in the same room as your cat, all that grossness gets stuck in there fur they lick them selfs and its just like they are smoking right along w/ you. as far as getting the cat hare from your clothes well thats what you get when you have a kitty, try using a lint roller they work just fine.
