Does anyone have any good shaving tips to share?

Hey Girls (and possibly guys lol),

I have really sensitive skin and really pale skin. I want to get a close shave without getting irritation (i get red dots all over my legs and it hurts). When i do shave it grows back in a day! and you can see if very clearly because i have very very dark hair.

I like to shave my entire leg and bikini line. So... if you get the picture... i'm pretty much an ape in the form of a human girl. lol.

I have tried waxing and i can not stand the pain. lol. I had to ask the beautician to stop :-P

To cut it short: I have really quick hair regrowth. Sensitive Skin - red dots. Dark hair. Pale Skin.

So, any tips?

P.S. If anyone can recommend a good shaving gel or razor, that'd be great! Or recommend anything really lol. Except waxing :-P It just doesn't work for me.

P.S.S. If anyone could explain how to shave correctly, that'd be great too!

To shave correctly:

Good shave creme or gel and it's best if you're in tub/ after shower so hair is softer. Shave oppositive of hair growth (towards you, usually)

idk about the first part, still trying to figure that out. lol

WEll cause of the pale skin u will always have the dots. U should really try waxing. That might help.

Use a sensitive skin form of Nair or sally Hansen hair remover, they last alot longer and don't (to my experience) hurt.

look for lotion hair removers.

to shave correctly, and avoid cutting yourself don't shave too hard, shave firmly and gently.

Wow if you're having so many issues maybe you should just cover up instead........Could save yourself a lot of time, and suffering.

ok, this is going to sound crazy, but trust me. use a really rich hair conditioner as a shaving cream. i use my boyfriend's used razors for his face on my legs (when they are too dull for his face they go to me, plenty sharp)! i hate women's razors. you can use new men's razors if you are careful, really careful, not to cut yourself.

rinse the razor quite often during the shave, the conditioner will build up on the back of the razor blade.

shave from your ankle all the way up your leg. focus extra attention on ankles and knees. note that shaving in multiple directions on your knees will help for an even smoother finish. if there are stubborn hairs, very carefully shave the opposite direction.

your legs will be soft and smooth. it sounds crazy, but it works!
