Fundamentalists...still another question regarding Adam and Eve......?

This one is for those who believe the bible is the literal word of god....

So by creating Eve from Adam's rib, making her a genetic copy, god was severly limiting the gene pool from which all of humanity was to come.

Hypothesizing that Adam had dark skin and hair, meaning Eve had dark skin and hair, how would the genes for the differences in humanity that we see today be possible?

And before everyone starts shouting "It was sin! It was sin!", tell me how Adam %26amp; Eve sinning could possibly create the gene for blonde. How could sin possibly add elements to a gene pool?

So could it have been because there was change, mutation within the human species along the way?

If not, how else could this have happened?

A step further, how did the world get repopulated from Noah's time? Noah's wife was black, so his sons had to be half black... so we are all black to one degree or another? this isn't that far fetched, in that science is still basically Afro-centrist as well. but accounting for 6 billion dilutions from an 8 person gene pool or a 2 person gene pool is statistically insignificant.. simply impossible..

Rib is the hebrew word for "curve"..as in the curve of the Double Helix of DNA

When God cast Cain away when he killed Abel, he removed the pigment from his body for a form of punishment.

I'm really curious as to what christians think when they walk in a museum and see the dinosaur skeletons...I mean really seriously, are they that ignorant?

Fundamentalists...still another question regarding Adam and Eve......?

You assume the physical laws were the same then. You can only assume or take on faith that genetics performed in the same manner.

You do know, that we have discovered similiar benefits from other parts of the body that are as helpful as 'embryonic stem-cells'.

Why do you fight with science? We're still learning.

Fundamentalists...still another question regarding Adam and Eve......?

The Bible states that there were other people in the world in addition to Adam and Eve. Including Able's wife and the people of the city of Nod. The creation "in God's image" is a spiritual creation , not a physical one.

do you notice how skin color is often changed from one climate to another. Let's think about that shall we.

Eve lived for 800 years and Adam lived for 600 years.. Eve ate the forbiden fruit and Adem kicked her out of the house. Then she left out from the garden of eaden and met a chinese guy.. Chaw Limp Po.... we are from Chaw Limp Po tribe.

Good question and I'm dying to hear the various responses. My contribution is: could it have been an "albino" happening? It is the same idea with blue eyes....where did they come from? I suspect that eventually all light hair and eyes will become extinct...so take lots of photos for future generations!

Wow. That's the first time I've heard anyone say the mark God placed on Cain was turning him white. I've heard plenty of rednecks say God turned him black. I was raised fundamentalist but am no longer Christian. But based upon this background, I can tell you that fundamentalism doesn't mean you can't believe in micro-evolution. You can believe that small gene mutations occur from person to person without believing that over time man evolved from other species. I'm fuzzy on the logic of that, but plenty of fundamentalists do. You can also believe that God doesn't have to obey the laws of science and can make blond people if he wants to. The thing about fundamentalism is, there's always an answer to everything...and it always makes sense to them.

Too many people take the bible as a literal statement that isn't open to interpretation.

Its a metaphor, an image, God gave it to us to better explain how we came to be. When it was written we wouldn't have understood or accepted evolution in any way.

I heard one person say that to question the bible and only believe in parts is a sin, but I don't accept popular view that the bible is 100% word of God. I believe that all men are flawed, even the men who wrote down the books, they could have made mistakes, or just changed something to suit them selfs.

Thats my view and I know it will offend a lot of Christians. And yes, I do believe in Jesus Christ, which makes me a christian too.

unlike humans God doesn't forget that only thing that doesn't change is change itself. So he knew that even if they were made from same gene change is Inevitable. and there was no sin because God already knew what was gonna happen. because if he didn't, he would be God.

micro-evolution

Fundamentalists...still another question regarding Adam and Eve......?

God created Adam and Eve to become the parents of all living. They had many different genes and were not limited to only one variety. God loves variation. Why would he make duplicate copies of Adam and Eve? How boring. You can see variation in all things. Why does variation have to be a mutation? A mutation is not good. Most mutations can not procreate. I have never seen a life that is a copy of it's parents. There is always some difference some where.

Fundamentalists...still another question regarding Adam and Eve......?

Man sweats the small stuff when it comes to God and his creation...it just is.

It does not take anything away from God nor does it add anything to him. He created man...he made the rainbow...it has color. I do not believe the skin and hair color had anything to do with sin...I think it had a thing to do with the regions in which every man and woman lived. The climates and the environment. When man built the tower in Babylon everyone was in one accord and spoke the same language, so God changed that...if one tells a story do they sometimes leave out the details. Does it matter who was first the brown eyed people or the blue eyed? God created man that is all we need to know...Jesus saves and if we believe it; we shall recieve the promises of God.....that is enough for most and it is enough for me..

Fundamentalists...still another question regarding Adam and Eve......?

In this day and age scientist, who are just barely scratching the surface of genetics and DNA, are already able to genetically manipulate DNA to produce exactly the charactieristics they want in an offspring. Including things not found in the parents.

God, who understands DNA to the point of having created it, would have no problem manipulating Adam's to produce an Eve that had all the other traits needed for mankind. The Bible does not say that God "cloned" Adam. Rather it says it took out of Adam all the material he used to create Eve.

That could well mean that he take out of Adam the blonde gene, and put it in Eve (leaving him a brunette). He took out of Adam the brown eyed-gene, leaving him with blue eyes. He took out of Adam the light skinned gene, leaving him with dark skin, etc. We know for sure that he ended up with the opposite sex when he did it. It would be just as easy for him to end up with the "opposite" of eveything else.

The way in which he produced Eve made the largest possible, not the smallest possible, gene pool where only two people are involved.

Genesis 9 13 the rainbow gods bend light in 7 living colors science laser light straight line only o,k, after the flood Noah open the doors and his sons went down the mountains and we are all son of Noah a ham . some went to tubal some to Spain some to the coast some to Egypt etc read it good for your mind amen luv dad

With God everything is possible what He wants to do.

Fundamentalists...still another question regarding Adam and Eve......?

I'm only able to guess about the answer to your question because there's nothing in my stinking copy of the bible to give me a clue... It's a godam useless book when it comes to having answers to logical questions. So here's my guess...

It might be ... E V O L U T I O N A R Y ...

Blonde, red, black and whatever hair color you'd like, and even baldness might be a variety of evolutionary trial steps in nature's search for the next generation of human expansion.

my hair hurts! LOL

i don't know but when I see my priest tomorow I will ask him..... and he will tell me... but I won't tell you.. I am going to keep it a secret and let you wonder about it...

no seriously. i am so confused. i don't think that sin has anything to do with hair color and other than that i don't know anything. and that is my story.
