If you want it natural looking get highlights just a few shades lighter than your natural colour.

I would go with some low lights since that color looks a bit light to me already... And it would add some shading to your face if you are pale... just be sure it's a color that matches your skin tone as well and not just your hair color. Not too dark if you are pale skin and not too light either....

Blond is always nice for highlights but everyone does it so if you want something a bit different I would do maybe some redish or darker brown... or mix it up with a few colors O_O
