Should I get a haircut?

After a terrible, terrible haircut several months ago, I still have choppy layers. It was supposed to be a short twenties-style bob, but I ended up with nearly bald spots. I got my hair fixed so I looked human again. Now the super-short places (they were less than an inch long; my over all hair was chin length) have grown out enough I could get that bob I was trying for in the first place. My hair's getting close to shoulder length. It's curly. I haven't had it longer than it is now in about five years.

Just a random survey: cut it short or let it grow some more?

i would let it grow out some more :) for me i loooOooove long hair :) u can do so much with long hair like play around with it.

i would probably let it grow a little longer..perhaps wait another month or two, then cut it a little longer than a bob, so that way it isnt too short, like last time.

get a trim and let it grow, long hair is beautiful,just make sure its healthy looking and go to a good trustworthy place

I see 2 question here. Do you want your hair to represent who you are and please YOU? Or do you want your hair to be a spot of ATTRACTION for guys. (because sometimes these 2 are not really on the same track) If you want your hair to represent you, as you are, maybe your style or your attraction to something (70s, 20s, 50s ... ) then do it, I recommend to take a picture of your desired hairstyle and look for a professional hair salon. If you want the second step, i need to get the dirty statistics. The statistics say that men are attracted to long hair women mainly, because they think that longer hair is more soft and feminine, more gentile, good to touch and it's more sexy. For them, short hair represents dynamism, agression and individualism. There is nothing wrong with that, but basically guys like to dominate, so they all fall for the long hair.

In any case I recommend a hairstyle which suits your face and body type. Some women, long hair or not, look terrible with long hair and short is better. I would definitely vote for a better harmonious look as most important point for decision.
