I am not native english speaker, can somebody help me out and proff read my essay for English class.

If somebody would ask me the question what racism is in Ukraine I would find it difficult to find the write answer, because in my country the majority of people is white and it is very seldom that we see something different. We don't use such definition as 閳ユ笧acism閳?very often, and majority of people don't think about it as a global problem. However racism is affecting every aspect of history, culture, politics and economics in the United States. It hurts people' s feelings and makes them feel completely miserable. Dr. Evelyn Hammonds, Science Historian, states that 閳?Race is a human invention ... We made it, we can unmake it.閳?If race is an invention and a myth how come it affects lives of so many people? I personally think that skin color and the shape of the nose doesn't make us different, we are all humans. However I think that every culture is different and that's why some of us may feel very uncomfortable with people of other cultures or we may feel that they have absolutely nothing in common with us. Nevertheless it should not give us any excuse to believe that our race or culture is superior or inferior to any other races.

Racism is a terrible problem and it hurts a lot of people in the everyday life. No matter what our skin color is: black white or brown, we can still experience racism in our life. When I moved to the USA I had experienced it on myself. I was working in the mall in the recovery team. I had to walk around the store and pick up the clothes lieing on the floor, putting it back on the hangers. I was completely lost in my thoughts and didn't pay much attention to the things around me. All of a sudden five black girls started yelling at me, throwing around the cloth and calling me racist. Somehow they decided that I stare at them because they are black and I am white. 閳ユ返ou think we don' t have the right to go to the expensive stores because we are black and therefore don't deserve it? And you deserve everything in your life because you are white? And how can you stare at us like that?閳? seemed like the flow of the questions would never stop. Those were the weirdest questions I have ever heard and I really did not know the answer to them, because they did not make any sense to me. Never in my life did I thought that black people should be inferior to white in any way, in fact I could not even understand why should I deserve all because I am white. It was very overwhelming for me because I have never heard about racism problem in the United States, and I have never travel to any other countries. I was always living in Ukraine and there I have never thought that my skin color is some kind of privilege, because almost everybody around had the same skin color. The only thing I was capable to say to these girls was that I did not stare at them at all and no matter what their skin color is black, white or yellow it doesn't give them a right to behave in this way with anybody. And then the security came...

I know it is completely ridiculous to say something like that, but after that incident I was afraid of the black people for a while... I was trying at all cost to avoid them. With time I realized - that's not a solution. Skin color doesn't make people who they are, but the culture, upbringing and education does. How can we stop racism? That's a very difficult question to answer, there were so many terrible mistakes in the past that our ancestors had done trying to get richer. The things that were done can never be justified and hatred and anger is still around us. It is important not to keep any prejudice or stereotypes in our hearts against anybody. Before making some racial comment and joke about somebody think first if you would like it if it was made in your address. No matter what our skin color is, or what the shape of our nose is, or what the color of our hair we should always stay humans and respect other people's rights and feelings. If we want to stop racism around us, everybody should try to cooperate to make this world a better place.

I will further correct HeiglLee's post, and add missing punctuation. Still not perfect, though.

If somebody would ask me the question OF what racism is in Ukraine, I would find it difficult to find the right answer. THIS IS because in my country the majority of people are white, and it is very seldom that we see ANYONE different. We don't use definitionS such as 閳ユ笧acism閳?very often, and THE majority of people don't think about it as a global problem. However, racism is affecting every aspect of history, culture, politics and economics in the United States. It hurts people' s feelings and makes them feel completely miserable. Dr. Evelyn Hammonds, Science Historian, states that 閳?Race is a human invention ... We made it, we can unmake it.閳?If race is an invention and a myth WHY DOES it affect THE lives of so many people? I personally think that skin color and the shape of A nose doesn't make us different. We are all humans. However, I think that every culture is different and that's why some of us may feel very uncomfortable with people of other cultures, or we may feel that they have absolutely nothing in common with us. Nevertheless, it should not give us any excuse to believe that our race or culture is superior or inferior to any other race.

Racism is a terrible problem and it offends many people in everyday life. No matter what our skin color is, WHETHER black, white or brown, we still encounter racism in our liVeS. I experienceD it myself when I moved to the United States. I was working in the mall with the recovery team, AND I had to walk around the store, pick up the clothes lying on the floor, AND PUT THEM back on hangers. I was completely lost in my thoughts and didn't pay much attention to the things around me. All of a sudden five black girls started yelling at me, throwing around the clothES and calling me racist. FOR SOME REASON they decided that I stareD at them because they are black, and I am white. 閳ユ返ou think we don' t have the right to go to the expensive stores because we are black and therefore don't deserve it? And you deserve everything in your life because you are white? And how can you stare at us like that?閳? IT seemed like the flow of questions would never stop. Those were the weirdest statementS I have ever heard, and I really did not know the answer to them because they did not make any sense to me. Never in my life did I THINK that blackS should feel inferior to whiteS in anyway. In fact, I could not understand why I deserved this, SIMPLY because I am white. It was very overwhelming for me because I have never heard about THE racism problem in the United States, and I have never traveled to any other countries. I always livED in Ukraine and I have never thought that my skin color WAs any kind of privilege there because almost everybody around haS the same skin color. The only thing I was capable OF SAYING to these girls was that I did not stare at them at all, and no matter if their skin color is black, white or yellow, it doesn't give them THE right to behave in this way towards anyone. Then the security guards came.

I know it is ridiculous to say something like that, but after thIS incident I was afraid of black people for a while. I was trying TO AVOID THEM at all costS. As time WENT by I realized - that THIS IS not a solution. Skin color doesn't make people who they are, but the culture, upbringing and education does. How can we stop racism? That's a very difficult question to answer. There were so many terrible mistakes in the past that our ancestors had MADE trying to get richer. The things that were done can never be justified, and hatred and anger are still around us. It is important not to keep any prejudices or stereotypes in our hearts against anybody. Before making some racial comment OR joke about somebody, think about what it WOULD BE like it if it was directed AT you. No matter what our skin color, shape of our nose, OR the color of our hair, we should always remain humans and respect other people's rights and feelings. If we want to stop racism around us, everybody should try to cooperate IN MAKING this world a better place.
