The most important aspect of hair on one閳ユ獨 head is to protect the scalp from UV rays. This reflects the variations in tight curled hair to straight hair, depending ultimately on the relationship between humans and their respective environment. Melanin, in the hair, reflects the ability to absorb UV rays. While this area is probably the most unclear and confusing since hair grows out of the epidermal tissue and epidermal tissue is an outgrowth of the ectoderm, there should be some significance to internal functioning.
Melanin in the brain increases from lower primates and reaches its highest level in the black human (King, 2001a, 2001b). The Central Nervous System (CNS) maintains bodily control by integrating all body functions. Since melanin is found in the CNS, it allows for quicker reaction time, mental awareness and a greater capacity for the transmission of brain impulses (Owens Moore, 1995).

There's some muddled reasoning. Who fed you that nonsense?
From the source below: "A review of the genetics and biochemistry of human pigmentation shows that all humans have similar amounts of neuromelanin (brain melanin), and that its concentration is absolutely independent of skin color; that adult humans do not synthesize -MSH; and that human melatonin has no clearly demonstrable physiological function and no relationship to skin color."
To expand on your question, the phenotype common to most black is beneficial in some circumstances, while the phenotype common to most whites is beneficial in others. Moreover, there is way more genetic variation among blacks than there is in the other races, due to the longer history of humans in Africa (more time to develop new alleles, or versions of a gene, through mutation) and the absence of the founder effect that populations were subjected to as they migrated out of Africa. Because of this it isn't really accurate to lump everyone who happens to have dark skin into a single "race". This can obscure important differences caused by the variation of alleles among different subpopulations. "Race" really has no utility when it comes to social structure, but can have some utility in medicine when it is sometimes important to know what alleles a person is likely to have.

wow. nothing like trying to use science to justify racisms.
but anyway, genetic advantage is relevant to environment; you only have an advantage if there is an environmental pressure selecting for that particular "genetic advantage." otherwise if there is no benefit (or adverse effects) the there is no advantage. you know, that's kinda the nature of "advantage"

Noone is superior based on race.
If it weren't for lies and hatred spread by racists (of all races) then it wouldnt' even be a factor in determining the 'superiority' of one man over another.
'Superiority' is a myth anyway - you might be better at taking tests than someone else for example, but they might be better than you at actually applying that knowledge.
Everyone has unique traits and abilities - some just don't fully realize their own potential, and others choose to make bad decisions that limit their potential.

Nobel Laureate James Watson opined that they don't. Take a close look at the incompetent and corrupt government of Zimbabwe, and you may agree with Dr. Watson.

This doesn't necessarily mean "superior" or "advantage," which are defined by society these days, and not genes. You may run faster, jump higher, and play basketball better than Bill Gates, but society is still giving the nod to Mr. Bill.
Thanks for asking.
Do Black People Have A Genetic Advantage Over Non Blacks?
well if that's true, then that little advantage is nothing, because Caucasians have a much larger genetic advantage as far as intelligence and evolved goes
