Why do you like death note, and whats your fav. characters?

I like death note becuase it is a deep anime. It shows you what goes on in a human mind and alters what is right and wrong. It also shows that humans sometimes feel that they have the right to judge others, sometimes being hypocrites at the same time.

I loved watching Death Note cause I adored the experience of seeing a story unravel from a genius' point of view.

Because L and Light both had different opinions on what justice really was -- this anime made me start thinking. It made me realize that all humans aren't evil and that some people were condemned into doing the things they did. Not to mention I started thinking about whether it is right that humans should judge other humans and things like that. If it wasn't for Death Note I wouldn't have considered wondering how the world and it's people work.

Death Note was such a unique anime, even though it was fictional, it still resembled reality in a way. It made me appreciate the world and see it another light in a fun way. I got to have this experience through one of my favorite hobbies, watching anime.

My favorite character is L.

This is because I like his grungy look. I love the way he sits and chews on his thumb when he's thinking deeply. Haha, plus his sugar cravings are awesome! Isn't it cool how he never gets cavities from it all?! Not to mention I would love to burn off the sugar I eat by thinking as well [Lol, L stated this]. I don't know there's just a weird vibe about L that makes him likeable =]

I loved Death Note because of the philisophical subjects of death and human nature.

I loved how deep it was as well.

My favorite character was L.

I loved how smart and eccentric he was.

I just like it because it keeps you on your toes at all times. Sort of a live action of chess. Favorite character is probably Ryuuku..she just wants something entertaining.. just like me!

I love Death Note because it's a really unique feeling plus it's kind of realistic (minus the killing people with a notebook) The human feelings are expressed really well in it and it gets you HOOKED!!

As for my favorite character.. I can't decide between L or Light!

I have no idea why I like Death note actually it was just very interesting story line I suppose.

My favorite character is "L" He's very smart, althetic, and very strange LOL. I love how he always eats sweets and sits in the certain position XD

wow death note is such an awesome anime!

it is extremely unique. you can search all you want your entire life time there will probably never be an anime better than this one. death note is realistic, deep, exciting, mysterious and it shows the world how ugly humans can be and connects it to real life by showing it in the form of a crime.

ligh and L are the best

but i think i like L a lot more than light

he is so intellegent and so much different than most characters. he is the kind of person you would definetly miss when he dies :[

I think it's great because of the intense psychological and intellectual battles that take place, and while showing you all sides, it still manages to be a mystery. There is always suspense. I also loved how much philosophy was engineered in for all sorts of topics, from the obvious should-bad-people-be-killed to euthanasia. L and Near were virtually the same for me, though I like Near better because well, yeah his white haired kiddiness ROCKS and because I hate Light (stupid arrogant self-important *%$%%26amp;*$%^%26amp;) and Near, while not really similar to L, had much better moral sense. Besides, he won and shoved it in Light's face.

I love this anime because it is very suspenseful and everything and it's like a totally different type of anime all together and my Favorite character would be

i love it for all the same reasons you do! and it just makes you think! i loved that anime a lot! my favorite character was Light, but kinda in the middle when he started to change, i started to like L a bit more.

I LOVE DEATH NOTE!!!...and it looks like we watch it for a lot of the same reasons too...but the biggest reason is that ,after more than a decade of watching anime, i want a plot that hasn't been done to death ( no pun intended)...i has a very original plot ......as fare as my fave character that would be ryuuk.. he cracks me up.....i love haw sometimes he knows things but won't tell light ...(like not telling him that Naomi Misora was using an allies when he was trying to write her name in the death note..LoL)

anything i write would look stupid after that, and it basically summed up everything i like about death note.

my favorite character, though, is ryuk. i love how the whole thing is just a game to him, a method of entertainment.

my second favorite character is probably mello. i don't know why everyone hates him so much. i find him quite interesting.

no clue why, but I loved Light, he was so cool, but a total jerk, especially whe it came to Misa. I felt so sorry for her, but she was pretty stupid. Anyway, I could see why Light was attracted to the deathnote. Although his method was unorthodox, he had good intentions. He wanted to rid the world of evil, not a bad idea. though, he thought he was God and went crazy because of that.

Mostly, I loved Deathnote because it got really intense with the supernatural. I was not a girlish kind of manga. sure, you had Misa's obsession with Light because he was incredibly goodlooking, good at sports, and, of course, he was played off has the most intelligent man alive. also, the shinigami was portrayed more like demons, while in other mangas they were more like humans in all aspects.

I am disappointed wih the way it ended. Light died llike a whimp while Misa completely disappeared. However, I think that ended was perfect, since it kept with reality, well sort of, if deathnotes and shinigamis do exist.
