Eyes closed?

EYES CLOSED

Instead of being born with eyes wide open,

What if we were had been born with eyes closed shut?

How would life be different in the dark?

Would we recognize things just by the touch?

Would we take more time to smell the flowers

Would we sit and listen to the birds sing

Would we lie each morning in bed for hours

Would we take time for the more important things?

We閳ユ獓 spend time with family for days on end

We閳ユ獓 notice smells we never noticed before

We閳ユ獓 spend more time talking to a friend

We閳ユ獓 notice the feel of the grass add so much more

Maybe life wouldn閳ユ獩 rush by quite so fast

Maybe we閳ユ獓 stand outside and taste the rain

Maybe we閳ユ獓 not dwell so much on the past

Maybe our hearts wouldn閳ユ獩 feel so much pain.

Things like clothes and hair would seem so small

Things like being judgemental would never take place

Things like these wouldn閳ユ獩 matter at all

Things like hatred wouldn閳ユ獩 be a part of the human race.

Let閳ユ獨 close our eyes and see what we can see

Let閳ユ獨 close our eyes and pretend for a day

Let閳ユ獨 close our eyes and be all we can be

Let閳ユ獨 close our eyes and fall to our knees and pray.

Awww....i personally think that this should be made into posters, quotation bookmarks and such...being sold at gift shops! Seriously... =)
