How to get PLATNIUM (BLONDE) hightlights at home??? Plz?
hmmm...it's really risky to do this at home. If your hair is naturally blonde then it should be ok. If not, it's going to be difficult because you won't have the products on-hand to fix it if it comes out orange. I would really re-consider seeing a stylist. Plus foils are really hard to do on someone else, let alone yourself. There is a reason they charge so much for highlights!
Try going to a beauty school. It's cheaper and they have staff there to help.

They have a kit and it gives you all the directions. You have to leave it in for the max time to get the really white highlights, it takes a while and if your hair has ben dyed it takes longer to lift the color out. You can go to Sally's beauty supply and ask them to help you also. The problem for you is gettint the strands of hair up, you need another person. You have to use a cap and go buy a metal chrochet hook, it works better or have the person use a rat tail comb and zig zag the pieces of hair up, put tin foil under it and buy the brush at Sallys for the highlight application, have them brush on the lifting lotion and wrap the foil. This is the key to the job looking good. Then the timeing is crucial....it has to lift all the color out. Wait and it will. Just takes a while. Now your hair will be dry where the color has been lifted. Use a good conditioner and leave it in for a while. Then use it often after. You will also need to use a blonde shampoo to keep the blonde from turning brassy. Use it every few times so you don't dry the hair out too much. Good luck. With a friend that you trust and time and call the # on the box too, they will advise you. That's what they are there for....just mske sure it's during normal hours when you do this just in case you do need to call. Good luck.

trust me doll... if you REALLY want it, you can get it!!!

one word of advice,,, if this is really what you want, youll get the shampoo color and cut and bite the bullet.... i promise you you will get what you want, and be very happy with the results... after all, ARENT YOU WORTH IT??? I THINK YOU ARE!!! GO FOR IT DOLL!!!

Just go to a salon... seriously!
Platinum highlights are no joke... especially with dark brown hair that has been colored...
Doing it at home, will probably leave you with yellow or orange highlights, with a lot of breakage... Then you will have to go to a salon and get it fixed and then you will end up spending probably twice as much to get it fixed as you would if you just got it done by a professional in the first place!
