Is it true that humans will eventually look the same...? (read on before answering)?

I heard that since interracial marriages and birracial people are rapidly on the rise, eventually humans will interbreed enough to the point were all humans pretty much become the same ethnicity.

I heard that all humans will have dark skin, dark hair and dark eyes and that the light skin, blond, blue or green-eyed genes will vanish.

Do you think this is a good or bad thing? I think it's both:

It's good because if everyone looked the same, maybe hate and racism would finally go away.

At the same time however I think it sucks becuase it would mean less diversity. It would be really dull and boring if everyone looked the same don't you agree?

It's cool that we have a variety of different races and cultures in the world and if humans became the same, everyone and everything would be forever standardized.

Your thoughts?

I completely dislike that prospect for the future.

here are my reasons:

people will still hate each other even if we were clones, humans just have a natural tendency to hate.

yes, people will be less diverse, we wont have the "different colors and flavors" that many people like.

If it was meant for us to be one race we would always have been one race.

I don't think it's true, plus I think it would be very boring! I like that everybody looks different.

It would take a super long time but I could see it logically happening... either way I don't think it is good or bad, why care about race...what did diversity ever do for anyone anyway?

Yes it's true. Just look at China with millennia of its borders closed off, with so many internal civil wars during the 5 kingdoms, with the great wall of China, of course you see the Chinese all look the same.

its possible that everyone would look the same but i doubt that would ever happen even if a million years went by.
