I've got an excerpt here from Revelations (trust me, I'm not preaching) and I was wondering if any of you have your own way of imagining the creature in this excerpt :)
"7 The appearance of the locusts was like that of horses ready for battle. On their heads they wore what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces, 8 and they had hair like women's hair. Their teeth were like lions' teeth, 9
and they had chests like iron breastplates. The sound of their wings was like the sound of many horse-drawn chariots racing into battle. 10 They had tails like scorpions, with stingers; with their tails they had power to harm people for five months. 11
They had as their king the angel of the abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon 6 and in Greek Apollyon."
I just asked this question out of fun cuz I like it when people use their imagination.
P.S.
I'll give my own portrayal later (running out of characters :p)
Have Fun!!

For Catholics Only: How would you imagine this?
Everybody knows this passage refers to to the Beatles. (hair like women's hair, "iron breastplates on their chests" [electric guitars], sound of their wings like ... rock music to Christian ears in the 60's...tails like scorpions...wires to the guitars...
For Catholics Only: How would you imagine this?
Since Catholics are taught not to read their Bibles (so as they might find out the truth of their false religion) I'll answer for them:
verse 7 depicts strength and speed
verse 8 the hair depicts attractiveness;the teeth depicts cruelty
verse 9 the breastplates of iron depicts invincibility;horse-drawn chariots racing into battle depicts calamity
verse 10 : These facts reinforce the gruesome portrait of life upon earth as the pit of the abyss is opened and the convicts od the ages(the fallen angels) are released.
verse 11: This king is named in both Hebrew and Greek. Abaddon is Hebrew. The term, found only this one time in our English Bible , is found six times in the Hebrew Bible (Job 26:6;28:22;31:12;Psalm 88:11;Proverbs 15:11; and 27:20) The Greek for,Apollyon, means 'the destroyer' a word the certainly desribes Satan.

what i don't understand is why - Catholics Only. God is quite clear as to the look of the plague. on one hand i wish i could draw what i see in my mind. on the other had - i'm thankful it is only in my imagination.
