Many people would say you have a great imagination, which you partly do.

The names are cool and the descriptions are neat, but it sounds kinda star trek-ish.

I think you got a great imaginiation with this though. You could go far, writing children's books or novels. Try it out and send stuff to publishers. You might go farther than you think.
