there is a video/dvd of a leture at harvard, i think, of a professor talking about Darwin and evolution and natural selection, etc. He is really animated and humerous to watch. it is 120 minuts long, as he says, "this lecture is going to be 120 minutes long, that's just naturally how long i talk for." does anyone know his name.. if it helps, there is a blue background and he has gray hair and references slides of the idea of an ape turning into a human (the progression of it..).
Lecture about evolution?
Sounds like Stephen Jay Gould. I know he taught at Harvard, and I have what I believe is the DVD you are talking about (actually, it's a CD-ROM).
It is wonderful! Gould was as great a lecturer as he was a writer. (He is my all-time favorite essayist.)
