Why cant we all just accept each other for who we are, we are all people. IM really getting fustrated with people judging becaus eyour to dark or to pale or hair and finacial status and all that crap. It just really gets me angry that it seems like Americans are so damn superficial. I really wish we coudl learn to love each other and stop focusing on race and religion and stuff. Everyone always tags some sort of negative conation to stuff. Cant we just all live%26gt;WE ARE ALL HUMAN , people should stop focusing so much energy on being so darn racist and hatred toward ppl being gay and focus on stuff that really matters like uncurable dieseases and making the world a better place. Those type things life color dont define us as people, its really sad that humans have been around thousands of years and its like we make the same mistakes over and over again

sadly, the society that some people live in means that people are brought up to believe all the wrong views. I totally agree with you on this, people need to get a reality check and see that we are all the same, no matter what way you look at it and see that just because we may have different tastes or views or looks, we are still exactly the same and should unite as one.

I go to highschool and it's all about putting tags on people and Judging them im sick and tired of all of that even though teachers show us videos on "everyones the same" type of stuff nobody listens its like they thats whats uffecting the world but they dont do anything to change it.!!!

Because people suck, to be honest.

Or, if you prefer: it's mostly because of religion and politics. Some people are born assholes, it seems, but others are either uneducated or were raised to be intolerant little peckers because "God says this" or "the government say that."

"Let's all be friends" is nice in theory, but in practice, won't be possible until we learn that religion and politics isn't everything.

yeah i hear ya..most of these days i kept hearing people saying, your people is like this, your people is like that. i think that every race is the same, there are good and bad in each nationalities.

I could not have said it any better myself. You wanna know why people are like this...it's simple...the majority of us are selfish.

There are many facets to being selfish. One of them is not accepting people who are not like ourselves because they make us feel uncomfortable.

However, there are a lot of really great people out there. For every 100 assholes, there's 5 great people. The odds are against people like you and I, but when we get people like ourselves together then nothing can defeat us.

Over the past decade, we've grown a lot, but there is still much to be done. We just have to keep it up and continue spreading our philosophies.

Humans are still hard-wired to fear things that are different, or at the least be cautious of them. You have to remember that a different appearance could have meant an enemy back when we lived on the savanna.

That's exactly why humans judge, and why humans are superficial. It's a survival mechanism. That's going to take thousands more years to undo completely, if ever.

It does get frustrating when you encounter people like that. However, there are still some good people left in the world. While some things will never change, other things will, eventually. And we just have to wait for that.:)
